Cool Jerk book signing – SoCal comics creator Paul Horn will have his three volumes of his comic Cool Jerk as well as tangential Doc Splatter comic on hand to sign and personalize with an original sketch, just in time for the holidays! (Columbus Day, Halloween, Daylight Savings Time, Veterans Day…)
As a deal-sweetener, Horn will have a limited supply of his brand-new comic Cool Jerk OMG Color! Vol. 1, available FREE with purchase of one of his Cool Jerk collected volumes (listed below)!
To even further sweeten the deal, Manhattan Beach designer, cartoonist and baking goddess JustJENN is partnering with Cool Jerk for the event. Patrons get a FREE CUPCAKE with purchase of a Cool Jerk book! First come, first served; there will only be two dozen cupcakes available!

Cool Jerk is a hilarious, black-and-white newspaper-style comic strip created by Paul Horn, 42. It chronicles the quirky bizarre adventures of the diverse denizens of Spittle Beach, Calif., primarily wiseass hodad (and title character) Armpit Beachhead and his superior-in-every-way girlfriend Puppy Fizgig. Cool Jerk originally ran in several newspapers each week in the early-to-mid-1990s until Horn moved the strip online. Since 1998, Horn has continued to offer new content weekly, making it one of the longest-running regular comics features created exclusively for Internet distribution.
